Jakarta – The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) cooperated with The Directorate of General of Intellectual Property Right of Indonesia, held WIPO National Workshop on Patent Drafting and the Use of the Patent System in Manhattan Hotel Indonesia from May 19 until May 23, 2014.
Corri Naryati, Patent Director for Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights of Indonesia, opened this workshop. There were 25 participants who attended this workshop, especially from IP Center of Universities in Indonesia, R&D from Private Companies and Indonesian Intellectual Property Rights’ Consultants.
There were three Keynote Speakers in this workshop. They are Ms. Patricia Simao Sartorius (Program Officer, Innovation Division of WIPO), Robert Sayre (Patent Attorney, Modern Times Legal, Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States of America) and the last is Victoria Lovatt (Asia IP Manager, Abbott, Singapore).
