Rena has extensive experience in handling patents in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. With her accurate analytical skills, she handled substantive examinations for patent applications. She is also experienced in drafting patent specifications, which is key to preparing patent applications for approval.

Rena has successfully handled various complex cases, such as drafting patents for plants that usually fall under the Plant Variety Protection (PVP). She is also experienced in submitting patents for medication that were initially rejected but later approved after detailed drafting. Additionally, Rena has a high success rate to get approvals by providing effective follow-up examination arguments.

Education & Achievement
Rena earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 2013 and received the Sampoerna scholarship. She attended various DJKI training programs, including drafting, patentability, Freedom to Operate (FTO), Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH), the ASEAN patent application acceleration program (ASPEC), as well as focus group discussions (FGD) related to patents, biochemistry, and pharmaceuticals. Moreover, Rena obtained a WIPO certificate after attending a patent seminar in 2014. She also published an article on the benefits of shrimp shell waste as an absorbent in 2013. In 2023, Rena was a speaker in the Bengkel Hukum patent webinar series.
