The expert of coding and Indonesian telecommunication from Technology Institute of Bandung (ITB), Dr. Eng. Khoirul Anwar reveals the greatest course at the time of learning holy Quran and hadist in his research.
The professor owning 8 (eight) international patents in telecommunication field admits getting inspiration from Quran and Sunnah in discovering basic theories for 5G and 6G technology.
“Source of inspiration could present a course when searching the best coding approach which finally leads to discovery of basic theories for 5G and 6G technology” said a man from Kediri, alumnus of electrical department in ITB who graduated with a cum laude in 2000 in Internasional Scientific Seminar of Mata Air 2020 organized by Kelompok Keahlian Ilmu-Ilmu Kemanusiaan (KKIK) ITB on Saturday (7/3).
This Indonesian researcher has made a proud of Indonesia for his achievement in International level.
He is an inventor and patent owner of 4G technology on base of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing).
His invention is further awarded as Best Paper for Young Scientist category in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Vehicular Technology Conference (IEEE VTC) 2010-Spring on May 16-19 in Taiwan.
Another scientist, Dr. Qoriah Siregar is also an ITB lecturer presenting a theme “Religiosity of Digital Public as a Discourse of Techno-Religion”. She provides explanation regarding several influences of technology in science and public religiosity.
“At this time, modern people generally depend on digital technology. It is important to anticipate positive and negative effect of technology in order to keep religion values therein.” she said.
Meanwhile, the Executive of Scientific Magazine of Mata Air, Astri Katrini Alafta, who also joins to support the event with a theme “Islamic Civilization and Its Proclivity to Science: A Forgotten History of Dark Ages” says, at the time of darkness in west while it is definitely a golden age for Islam.
“Darkness in west will not be in effect for Islam. It precisely means that darkness for west but brightness for east.” said Astri Katrini Alafta.
Even, it is explained the development of science in west having a big debt in translation and development of science done by Islam in that era.
Dr. Salih Yucel from Charles Sturt University also takes apart a flabbergast fact of the inventor of America continent. Columbus is not the first man arriving in America continent, he said.
“Archaeology artefacts show so many discoveries found in America and Mexico showing the existence of Moslems in that continent before Columbus comes,” he added.
Salih also gives some academic evidences which have been published in America. “America itself has a doubt if Columbus is the first man coming to that continent since the evidence shows the existence of Islamic culture,” he affirmed.
Meanwhile the researcher from KKIK ITB, Dr. Syihabuddin explains the implied miracle stated in Qur’an verses. One of them relates to linguistic approach for understanding the implied facts in Saba’ verses 10-12: “And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], “O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]”. And We made pliable for him iron. [Commanding him], “Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you], righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing.”. And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind – its morning [journey was that of] a month – and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command – We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.”
