Memorandum of Cooperation Between DGIP and EPO

Mr. Benoit Battistelli, President for European Patent Office (EPO) and Mr. Ahmad M. Ramli Director General for Intellectual Property Right of Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on Monday, September 22, 2014 in Geneva Switzerland.

This cooperation is very important for DGIP to improve services in patent procedures especially in administration process and examination process.

Mr. Ramli said that DGIP would like to express the biggest gratitude to EPO, because EPO have been helping DGIP to provide training for patent examiners. This training had been increasing the ability of patent examiners in Indonesia.

Mr. Ramli hopes that EPO can help DGIP to developing IP System in Indonesia. Furthermore, this memorandum is expected to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between DGIP and EPO in the near future.
